  • June 24th - June 28th 2019, Monday - Friday
  • For youth from 3rd grade to 8th grade
  • Half day- 9:00am to 12:30pm, $250 for a part-time session
  • Full day - 9:00 am to 3:30pm, $395 for more in-depth drone programming study

Course Description:

Learn basic JavaScript syntax to control autonomous drones. Learn about VR drone racing. One day will focus on the science of flight, and beginning flight skills. Students learn the difference between remote control and autonomous programming. In this class, students will get to learn basic JavaScript syntax that is used to build apps, code commands for, and control autonomous drones. Learners will work on computers and tablets to control drone devices, analyze flight requirements, code, test, debug, discuss swarm programming and culminate with a drone challenge field as they program their own amazing feats!

Mondays will include Four Forces of Flight session from Science Matters, as well as a Nano Drone to take home.


Materials fee for take-home materials = $70/student;
Instructors will bring drones for in-class use.
